Roop’s kitchen
Cooked the slow way, the way it’s done at home.
Whole spices bloomed in hot ghee. Onions taken slowly to a deep brown, because that is where the flavour is. Dal left to simmer until it turns creamy on its own. Rotis made one at a time and eaten hot.
Nothing comes from a jar of ready-made gravy. Every booking gets its own menu, planned around your guests, from Punjab to the South and everywhere between.
